A strange hybrid Morning Glory

We had never seen a Morning Glory like that one before. Sadly it was in the fridge in water until I got home so it was looking a bit ragged by the time I got to take this pic

Very pretty and very unusual.

Lovely!
However, Jams, why did you pick it and put it into the fridge? Wouldn't it have been nicer to 'shoot' it whilst being alive?

O wow! Can you get all blue ones then? I love blue flowers. I'd love to see a real blue rose one day... but that is apparently the holy grail of gardening and it's probaby never going to happen... unless they genetically engineer them with lobster and scorpion blood...

It is a bit odd isn't it Cherie

Ah Sean if the not wife hadn't picked it then it would have shriveled up by noon. Picking it meant that I got a chance to see it

There are all blue ones. Not sure if we have any this year. I love blue flowers too. Look out for the Meconopsis
